Physical activity is extremely important for children, especially because their bodies are constantly growing and changing every day. When you are able to get the importance and value of regular physical activity across at an early age, it is something that children will carry with them throughout their lives. There are a lot of interesting and fun ways that you can use to make sure that there is fitness after school; there have even been programs solely dedicated to making sure that children stay active after school is out so they are not just at home. But there are things that the school can do to help promote fitness for kids that will take place during school hours as well. One thing that is not just fun but would allow children to get active and recognize that the possibility of school fitness there is to have a field trip to South Skate Center.
Did you know that the American Heart Association recognizes roller skating as one of the top aerobic exercises? It’s true! Roller skating is an activity that’s fun but also can be incorporated into your daily fitness… you are using your entire body to roller skate and you are also having a great time. It is nothing better to be able to go skating with your friends and schoolmates and there’s no better time to do so than school hours. That is just one reason that skating field trip is a great idea for you to have with your students.
