Healthy Lifestyle Skating Program
6401 S. Western
South Skate is offering elementary schools in the OKC District a chance to experience Roller Skating for fun, fitness, and rewards. Roller Skating is a tremendous health benefit for young and old alike. It is a great family activity.
We raised over $4,000 for OKC Schools in the 2017-2018 school year!
We are doing this to promote “Schools for a Healthy Lifestyle” which is promoted by The Roller Skating Association, and as a Community Service for all school children. We are giving out one Take Home Flyer for each student with the skate dates for the entire school year. The skate center is providing a custom made poster with the school name and all the dates just like the take-home flyer. To assure success for your school, the more announcements the school makes turns into more dollars for your school!
The time of the event is 6-9pm Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and the charge is a nominal fee of $3.00 per person, which also includes regular skates. The school child brings their friends and family with them, and every participating skater is worth $1.00 to the school. They may include their brothers, sisters, and friends as well as parents, and everyone pays the $3.00 fee per person! The more people you bring, the more money the school receives!
There is no charge or responsibility to the school. The day after your Skate Night, we will mail a check to your organization. We ask that you hand out the initial take-home flyers and make five announcements during the week of the skate night. Teachers are welcome to come and watch as the children have fun while exercising and building their self-confidence and coordination.
Call and sign up your school today. We will need the number of students for all schools that participate. Please call for your reservation.
